The following is a mini campaign based on "OSG The seven days of 1809" played a few years ago.  We used house rules, an umpire and full fog of war.

During the game it occurs an odd situation around Neustadt and Abensberg. In the evening of April 18th a lot of troops converged against each other and we conclude that a battle should be played on that ground.

Scale 1 hex=1760 yards or 1 mile.

The Order of battle :

Austrians :

*Gros bataillon means Large unit in French language. Units with an *asterisk are large units. Casque means helmet.

The IIIrd ArmeeKorps of Hohenzollern is fully deployed except the Kayser Brigade wich is ployed on the road before the town of Mühlhausen.

All the other Austrian units are ployed in march column on the battlefield. The only Force missing is the VI ArmeeKorps of Hiller.

Reinforcement :

The VI ArmeeKorps of Hiller is off table and situated around the town of Geisenfeld. Hiller is waiting for new orders from Karl.

Karl may send an order to Hiller to march toward Neustadt. The dispatch will take 9 game-turns (3 hours) to reach Hiller.

When Hiller will received the dispatch, take a Command Test with no modifier. Apply the result.

If it is a success the VI ArmeeKorps will begin its march towards Neustadt by the shortest route. And will enter the battlefield ployed on the road probably behind the rear of the French division of Demont.

If it is a delay, simply add the number of G-t of delay to the following.

After activation of Hiller It will take 6 G-t to enter the battlefield (2 hours).

French :

The remaining of the VII Corps of Lefebvre are ployed in march column.

The cavalry brigade of Pajol and the infantry division of Morand are ployed on the road towards Abensberg in march column.

The Heavy cavalry of Bessieres and the infantry division of Demont are ployed in march column on the road behind the VII Corps of Lefebvre.

Reinforcement :

The cavalry brigade of Piré and the infantry division of Gudin will enter ployed on the road in the town of Reissing in the beginning of the 2nd G-t.

The infantry division of Saint-Hilaire is en route to Abensberg. In the beginning of the 5th G-t take a Command test with no modifier. Apply the result. If it failed, retry next turn with a +1 modifier. If it's a sucess the division enters the battlefield ployed on the road in the town of Reissing. If it's a delay the division enters after passing that delay.

The reserve Corps of Lannes is an route to Abensberg. In the beginning of the 10th G-t take a Command test with no modifier. Apply the result. If it failed, retry next turn with a +1 modifier. If it's a sucess the first division of the corps enters the battlefield ployed on the road in the town of Reissing. If it's a delay the division enters after passing that delay.
